When it comes to Fathead graphics the rules are pretty simple: Peel it. Stick it. Later, if you want to, you can do this: Unpeel it. Move it. Stick it again.

There are, however, two very important things you need to know:

  1. DO NOT LET IT STICK TO ITSELF. Nothing loves Fathead more than Fathead and once the bond is made to itself well, let's just say it can be a pretty unpleasant experience getting the pieces apart.
  2. FATHEAD LOVES A CLEAN, SMOOTH INTERIOR SURFACE. You've got yourself a brand new, fresh, crisp Fathead and you're going to put it on that dirty, bumpy wall of yours! STOP. When we say clean we just mean you should wipe down the wall with a wet (not soapy) cloth and let it dry. When we say smooth we mean textured walls, textured wallpaper, cinder blocks and other UNEVEN SURFACES ARE OUT. When we say interior we mean don't stick this on your RV, your garage door or even your garage wall unless you've got one of those fancy heated garages – lucky you. A climate controlled room is what you're looking for, which means the kind of room you live in all the time, and not the sauna or the wine cellar. Get the idea? OK - One more thing. If you just painted you need to wait 30 days before you put your Fathead on the wall. Why? Because paint feels dry long before it has fully cured and bonded to the surface. Don't risk your Fathead and your paint job by being impatient. We understand it's hard to resist but you'll be glad you waited.

Now remember, the only kind of Fathead that takes any real patience and some help from a friend is one of our REAL.BIG. life-size Fathead Wall Graphics. Fathead Jrs., Skins, and Tradeables are all one-person jobs.
